Lisa and Billy originated from inner city Melbourne – just 10 minutes from town. In 1992 they moved to a 14 hectare property in Tinbeerwah on the Sunshine Coast. Lisa’s first priority was for her and Billy to have horses. (Billy didn’t ride!!) They bought two, and of course the number grew.
One horse had Queensland itch, and no potions or lotions seemed to help. They were advised by a friend to add Garlic to the feed. After a few weeks, some positive changes started to take place. Well, the rest was history – a business was born.
Lisa’s step-father was a large distributor of grains, herbs & spices, so that was not only advantageous for the attainment of knowledge, but also the security of an on going supply. The business has grown with buyer knowledge and demand.
Lisa competed for many years, and is very aware of the requirements of horses, whether they are retired ponies that were bred on the farm – competition horses – or the full spectrum in between.
In 2001 they moved to a 30 hectare property in Cooroy, which is situated in the Noosa Hinterland. At the moment they have three horses – her warmblood Rudy (retired), and two riding horses – thorougbred Rico and Cyldie x Koda . They also have 2 dogs – Becky & Lucy and a black cat called KitKat.
