SLIPPERY ELM

Slippery Elm is used primarily to soothe the lining of the digestive tract and regulate intestinal flora.  It also helps to treat scours and the older or debilitated horse will benefit from the bark’s nutritional value.

As Slippery Elm is so mucilaginous, it is best fed at a different time than other medication/supps so as not to interfere with absorption.  Feed a few hours apart from other supplements.
